Strategic Consulitng, Inc. (also dba "SCI-Accounting") is a small, hard-working accounting consulting firm based in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Established in 1994, we hit the ground running with our approach to helping clients. We offer tailored accounting support that will meet your operational needs be they a single project, several projects or to even step into the shoes of financial management.  Your goals are always our goals.  With specialized expertise working with property/casualty insurance companies and agencies, as well as non-insurance companies, we are committed to finding ways to support and improve our client's accounting, reporting and operational needs.   
 

John has been in the insurance industry since the age of 15, when he began working summers at Blue Cross Insurance and developed a real passion for working in the complex and highly specialized world of  insurance accounting and reporting and later began working for property/casualty insurannce companies and there found his real niche.  John rose throiugh the ranks culminating in being the CFO for a medical malpractice insurance company and, following that, took the opportunity to start his own cconsulting firm offering accounting, reporrting and operations support primarily for property/caualty insurance companies and agencies around the U.S. and also for non-insurance companies as well.

 

In addition to insurance accounting, John is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and is available to assist or lead fraud reviews or assess the adequacy of asset protecion for client companies.

 

John is an avid RV'er and enjoys taking trips with his wife and their grandchildren.
